Heidi Montag's line for Anchor Blue debuts soon

Quick, when I say celebrity fashion, which names pop to mind? Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, for sure, maybe Mischa Barton...and...Heidi Montag?!? Didn't think so. I had originally thought that Heidi's only claim to fashion fame is that her ex-roommate Lauren Conrad, with whom she is currently feuding and hasn't spoken to in months -- or so MTV wants us to think -- is in fashion school. But, apparently Heidi actually once spent a year studying apparel design. Who knew? I'm a little rusty when it comes to The Hills trivia.
Anyways, back in November, Anchor Blue announced that they were going to let Heidi loose to create her own line that will be sold in their stores across the U.S. Heidi's line is named -- get ready for this -- Heidiwood. The launch is coming up soon, April 1st, in case you want to start a countdown.
Anchor Blue's plan is to use Miss Montag in order to appeal to an older demographic. And by older I mean, women (girls?) aged 16-21 rather than the 14-18 year olds that they currently cater to. Heidiwood will have pieces ranging in price from $10-$60 dollars and will be made up of creative gems such as "colorful tank tops, signature T-shirts, black shorts, white jean shirts," and more.
What do you think about this? Does Heidi really care about becoming a designer or is the line just another way to compete with rival, LC? And here's an even more important question. Which would you be less embarrassed to buy, a Lauren Conrad shirt or a Heidi Montag shirt? Since I'm definitely not in the target demographic, I shouldn't even talk about buying their clothes and I should probably just be flat out embarrassed that I watch The Hills and even know who these girls are!

The girl can't dress for her life, give me a break. And seeing as I am in fact in the target demographic, I would like to say that I would not purchase a LC or Heidi shirt. In fact, I would wear one if you paid me

good gosh--NO--NO--the media feeds this though by covering anything to do with her. that is why anchor blue wants her to get their own coverage--she dresses awful and that bleached hair--pls someone stop this madness.

Yes, there is something odd about her breasts. Her natural breasts has one higher than the other, this is normal, and when she got the implants it just emphasized the difference as implants do. Implants will never be able to hide the difference no matter how much she pays for them.

EW, I hate Heidi, and that girl has no fashion sense. As one of the people they are trying to market this "clothing line" to, I would never buy it, gross. She's a major b**** who doesn't deserve even the slightest celebritiness. I would run AWAY from whatever store was selling this line.

No.. why would we want our children subjected to someone who has enhanced her body so much at a young age. Let alone who has no respect for her peers , lives in sin, and has a horrible sense of what is right in wrong in life. She has done nothing but make a fool of herself in all of her ventures from what I have seen. And I personally do not want my daughter to think she could act in that way and reseve success from bad behavior!

Wait, didn't Heidi drop out of fashion school to live her dream of working in PR? Somehow she's become a PR exec, a recording artist and now a fashion designer? Who knew someone with NO education and a lack of talent could do so much?!?!

Looks like her fake boobs were too big...and now they are stretched beyond repair, pretty soon she'll have to be slinging them over her shoulder just to be able to walk forward.

I would have more respect for her if she had just designed clothes. The powers that be are doing everything to make her a star. Go away. No one cares. In almost every if not every magazine there are pictures of Heidi and Spencer. Spencer and Heidi. They are always ALONE. Does no one like them? Again...Does NO ONE like them? Her 21st birthday had a red curtain and them toasting alone, dancing alone, with the cake alone. Where is everyone else? There is no one. Photos on the beach alone. Always just the 2 of them. Who slept with someone to get them on the show and in all these magazines? Or who paid off someone for this opportunity? I will not buy clothing, perfume, etc.. from any star. They have a career that provides a huge income. I will buy from those who do not have their hand in every pot. Imagine if those of you reading this got the chance to design something to sell and got help to do it. But instead it is the same celebraties over and over. The best comment I have heard about Spencer..."spencer look like a skelton with hair. he creepy looking".

OK - I am not in that target demographic and I don't watch the show....I can only assume that Hills are in reference to those big fake bumps on her chest.....
