Oscar Coverage: Best dressed of the night-- Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway looked stunning in her red Marchesa gown. Stunning. I am so in love with this dress it's not even funny. The trail of red roses coming down the one shoulder combined with the sweeping, wrapping Grecian like cut is beyond gorgeous.

And her choice of minimal accessories was spot on. With a dress like this there's no need to go overboard with too much bling. Anne opted out on things like heavy necklaces and bracelets, and instead decided on just a pair of simple earrings.

Of course, this dress is a little less out there than what Anne wore to the Oscars last year. I seem to remember that she got torn apart for her little white and black number with the giant bow on the front. So maybe she just wanted to make sure she'd be making the best dressed list this year since she was on all the worst lists in 2007.
