SJP hates being "unsexiest woman alive"

Apparently Sarah Jessica Parker is unhappy being the "unsexiest woman alive." This news isn't exactly shocking.

The star received the unfortunate honor from Maxim magazine back in October, and she recently confided in an interview with Grazia magazine that she felt the poll was "brutal," and that the results were "shocking."

And it's true, while Parker isn't exactly the kind of huge-chested, 19-year-old hot body that usually wins the hearts of men's mag readers, there's definitely some uglier women out there (Amy Winehouse, we're looking at you).

It's also worth noting that Matthew Broderick, Parker's husband, wasn't too pleased -- not entirely because the news hurt his wife's feelings, but more because the results called his decision-making into question. Parker says, after her hubby learned that Maxim called her a "Barbaro-faced broad," he was "upset" because "it has to do with his judgment."

Fair enough, I wouldn't want to be married to the world's least sexy woman either. With that in mind, who would you deem world's unsexiest?

She's Carrie freaking Bradshaw, she's always, always had amazing personal style and her body is totally kick ass (I won't lie, her body from Seasons 3 and 4 of SATC is still my gym inspiration). Personally, I find SJP (and Madonna for that matter) infinitely more "sexy" than skanks like Lindsay Lohan. But that's just me.

As for most unsexy, I can't really quibble with Britney Spears. Ick.

every man i know doesn't think she's hot, and all the women i know want to look more like her. Maybe b/c women would rather be thin and fashionable than voluptuous, and men prefer girls with big boobs over fashion and being stick-thin? Or maybe women feel empowered after following her character on Sex and the City, and Men are intimidated by her take-charge sexuality? WHO KNOWS! all i know is I think she's ALWAYS been hot, and still is very sexy.

Matthew Broderick is a douche bag if that was really his reaction. I don't think that what Maxim prints should effect "his judgment" of his (imo) gorgeous wife. Maybe it's just me, but I thought marriage was about love, and dedication, through sickness, health, good times, and bad publicity... anyone? anyone? Buelller?... Bueller?

You've got to be kidding me. Sarah Jessica Parker brought so much vitality, fun, laughter, sexiness, personality to Sex in the City-- made a mark on these years that the show was on. She may not fit the stereotypical "sex" pot but she definately has a sexiness of her own I am sure that thousands of men appreciate. I was really disappointed to see the point re: her husband "his judgement comes into question?" It is Maxim's judgement that comes into question where they pinhole what sexiness is for the masses vs each individual personal fantasy of sexiness. For Matthew Broderick to respond as such was more of an insult, to a degree, then the magazine. His response should be that she is the sexiest women to me and that is why I love her. SHE should also own her own sexiness and sexuality- she certainly shared it very well with her show and I commend her beyond all this BS media tabloid crap.

If anyone should be voted the UN-sexiest woman alive, it should have been Amy Winehouse. Now SHE has a horse face. That girl is all jaw...and missing teeth? She is just gross, ALWAYS looks filthy, and what the f*ck [seriously] is up with her hair?!?

I hadn't ever taken a close look at "Maxim" before hearing about this "vote" of theirs, so I took a gander at it in my local bookstore. Now I think I understand why they attached such a moniker to her. She is unfailingly ladylike. She has a strict no-nudity clause in all of her acting contracts. She has been with the same man--a highly-pricipled gentleman--for 15 years and married to him for ten. She is well-read, well-spoken, and averse to criticizing others. These do not seem to me to be qualities that the editors of Maxim are inclined to value highly enough to use as selection criteria. It was hurtful to her, no doubt, and understandably so, since she works to keep her figure and is careful about clothing choices--not to mention her efforts to make stylish clothes available to women of modest means. But Sarah, keep your head up. Those of us who loved your stylish persona on SATC, and are eagerly awaiting its film release in a few weeks, will continue to want to see the films you perform in--and the neanderthals at Maxim were never your audience in the first place. And let me add: thank you for so strongly making the point in so many of your interviews that film actresses not only have many advantages that help them keep fit and trim but actually have to avail themselves of these advantages to keep working--and that the rest of us should work to be healthy and happy with our physiques. Making the effort to share common cause with other, less-privileged women is rare--and appreciated.

I think Ms. Parker is wonderful for so many many reasons-she likes herself AS IS-nothing fake there! She is truly lovely inside and it shows thru and in her eyes, and as Mary put it she is unfailingly ladylike. I personally was disgusted as was my other half..a LOT of us grew up with her....she is the normal woman....she doesnt lie about others nor does she wish to be lied about, or hurt....takes fake, clasless people to have said these things about her....I commend her for standing strong-she is someone I admire and will continue. She has looked at the world and created things AFFORDABLE for millions of us-she remembers needing as well as wanting, and has tried to help.....Ill be a lifelong fan of hers, of her grace, her smile, her class...and those who think they are better had best take a look in the mirror and ask am I for real and who am I to put down someone else cuz I didnt walk on water! You go girl!! Keep being YOU, cause that is the best gift you can give...

What a f**^&ing HORSE! I hate her so much. I've never posted on a blog before, because i never hated anyone as much as SJP. He might correct the issue by locking her in a stable, and feeding her salt lick and Hay for the rest of her puff. P.S. Her "attitude" sucks. Men want: "Do what i say and speak when you're spoken to".
