Lakme Indian Fashion Week
Fashion around the globe absolutely fascinates me. I know these Fashion Weeks in Asia aren't nearly as big of a deal for the fashion world as Milan or Paris, but to me, they're just as interesting. Style gives us a unique glimpse into another culture.In the past week I've been able to write about Tunis Handicraft Week and China Fashion Week. Now we're about to take a glance at Fashion Week in India.
One thing that left a huge impression on me from Indian Fashion Week were the models. Wow, just wow. The models are insanely gorgeous and refreshingly not toothpick thin. It's easy to understand why the most beautiful woman in the world, Aishwarya Rai, is from India.
Apparently this year in Mumbai they were feeling bold colors. Walking down the runway were gorgeous peaches, pinks and mint greens. There was also lots of layering and funky textures. All in all, there were some amazing designs. Browse through the gallery and see for yourself!

Not only that, but the models arent twigs or clothes hangers- they are actual, real gorgeous people!
