Do not fear the brights: makeup

Kristen Seymour did a great post recently about how to wear neon. When you're talking about something as fun as neon, why stop at clothes and jewelry? What's good for your body is good for your face.
Yes, neon make up. Pop Beauty Lid Neon eyeshadow, to be specific. Wow! Now those are brights!
As gorgeous as these colors are, please, use some restraint. Do not:
- use more than one color at a time
- match it exactly to your outfit
- apply it in great sweeping wings, like Endora

I totally remember coloring one eyelid all purple, then putting pink on the lower lid and striping all the other colors on the top when I was, like, 8. I thought I was so punk! And you're telling me I can't stripe it anymore? What a bummer ... :)
Seriously, though. It was awesome.

OH, stripes are fine, fantastic even! Talk about your authentic 80's eye. It's the solid color, big matchy lid we want to avoid.
