Norah Jones gives in to the short hair trends

Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, came to the U.S. and started the short hair trend. Since then, anyone who's anyone has been seen with the bob, most notably Katie Holmes. But, aside from the big names, I think it's only fair that we talk about some of the lower profile ladies who have also chopped it all off in the name of fashion. Our most recent victim is Norah Jones.

Celebrities who rock the pixie cut

  • Renee Zellweger
  • Rihanna
  • Paris Hilton
  • Mena Suvari
  • Kimberly Stewart

Norah attended a screening of 'My Blueberry Nights' hosted by The Cinema Society and IWC at The Tribeca Grand Hotel. She shocked everyone with her new do. And we are loving it! With her brunette locks cropped that close to her head you can't help but notice those outstanding eyes. Norah looks edgy, hot and hip, everything that someone whose music plays on the easy listening channel should not be.

Other stars who have also given in to the trend recently are Mena Suvari and Renee Zellweger to name a few. Mena rocks it, while Renee on the other needs more hair to umm, make her face look plumper? Also in the short haired mix are Paris Hilton, Kim Stewart, Winona Ryder, and Rihanna.

We love this new trend. Forget, ridiculously expensive extensions that actually end up looking cheap -- the downfall of many a reality star. Short and natural is the new way to go.
