Last weekend, we officially retired our trusty Blue Satin Chanel nail polish. The two of us -- nail polish and person -- went to Jamaba Juice and watched The Hills together. And we just wanted to end things on a good note. You know, before it started getting ugly.

So, now we're on the hunt for that perfect vibrant hue for spring and it's been a little more difficult than we ever expected.

We loved the funky lime green nails Rihanna wore to the Nickeloden Kids' Choice Awards, but we'd have the polish remover out by the time we left our manicurists; Clear nails are just plain boring, and when did yellow get en vogue?

Yes, we have a problem -- even more so now that we've seen Chicago rapper Kid Sister's video for her addictive single Pro Nails featuring Kanye West.


We never considered nail art. Maybe a black and white checkered manicure? Or a ombré pedi a la Prada?
