Target Private Label collection

...And we're back. After what has seemed like an eternity (OK, it's been a week) since its last diffusion collection dropped, Target is ready to release another line under its widely successful Go International label.

But if you're looking to find some affordable pieces from the designers whose year end sales you live for, then this little package of tops and shorts isn't for you.

No, this limited-edition collection was actually created by Target's in-house designers. Wait, you didn't know they had any? Well, neither did we. But after 10 years if this high/low business, they've decided to create their own line of inexpensive chic fashion under the name, Private Label.

And so far, things aren't looking to good for the new blood. Comprised of mostly dresses and skirts, this collection is full of bad high-fashion replicas: There is an ombré top a la Jonathan Saunders and there are way too many Chloé knock-offs to count.

We're not going to totally bash this line because even with its major flaws it still shows signs of promise in a few of the pieces. But if we could give Target some advice:

We already have a Forever 21.
