eBay WTF of the Day: Ludicrous stirrup pants

Help. . .?
These pants are totally freaking ridiculous. There, I said it.

There almost isn't more to say. We don't normally post these. We see a lot of things on eBay in this category we shall call Ludicrous.

By deeming an eBay item Ludicrous, we mean that nobody's actually going to buy it, unless they're making a costume of some kind. And really, probably not then either, because as in this case, the items tend to cost upward of the fifty cents they might be worth at a yard sale.

$9.99 plus shipping will get you an opening bid on these "Super Ugly 80s Vtg Stretch Stirrup Pants Leggings Sz M." Good thing they're mediums, because you wouldn't want to look batdung crazy and fat.

We are not against the stirrup pant in general. We have fond childhood memories of the stirrup pant. We imagine that the stirrup pant will eventually swing back into fashion, but are not really holding our breath.

We are against these stirrup pants, whose blocks of unfortunate prints include stars, squares with dots, tweed, Aztec, and unadulterated pink. We are against the quote from the seller: "They are in absolutely perfect condition!" Why? Because the perfect condition for these stirrup pants is on fire, and slowly disintigrating into a mildly toxic pile of multicolored ash.

We are against not the stirrup pant, but the Ludicrous stirrup pant. WTF declared.
