Naomi Campbell not allowed to give blood in Brazil

Naomi Campbell has had a rough couple of weeks. First, she was banned from British Airways, basically for just being her normal psychotic self aka hacking a loogie onto a police officer. Then, she headed down to Brazil to give blood but they wouldn't take it! Ouch, that had to sting. Naomi was just trying to do good for others but she still got rejected.

She paid a visit to a Rio de Janeiro blood donor center to show her support for the dengue fever outbreak that has been plaguing that region of the world. While wearing a shirt that said "Rio Against Dengue," she attempted to donate, but they wouldn't take her blood because of her February cyst surgery (also rumored to have something to do with infectious diseases).

Well, her heart was in the right place and we're glad somebody is calling attention to an issue that is hitting Brazil hard right now. 50 people have already died and over 60,000 are ill from the mosquito transmitted disease. Because of the sudden outbreak, hospitals in Brazil have been left with a blood shortage. And if Naomi can't give blood, somebody has to do it. If you live in the area, what are you waiting for? Start donating!

By the way, does it look like Naomi may have had a little somethin' somethin' done to her face? Look at the pictures in the gallery and tell us if it's just our imagination.
