Wild Dill for the wild child

Filed under: Haute Home, Accessories, Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Dresses, Kids and Babies, Style for a Cause, Green Fashion

Wild Dill was created by Jennifer who signs her bio "Wife and Mother of Wild Men." We love that. She created Wild Dill to reflect the "sense of curiosity and wonder for everything that is natural and wild." They "carry only natural, organic, fair trade, made in the USA/Europe, or recycled clothing, toys, bedding and furniture for babies and toddlers."

All of it is wonderful. See for yourself:

Wild Dill is kind enough to offer some reasons that they do what they do. Here is what they list with regard to bamboo fiber:

  • Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, maturing in 3-5 years, making it the ultimate renewable resource.
  • Bamboo grows everywhere except the North and South poles.
  • Bamboo requires less energy and water to grow, surviving both drought and flood conditions.
  • Bamboo is a natural air filter, consuming carbon dioxide and returning 30% more oxygen than trees.
  • Bamboo can heal overgrazed and over used soil.
  • Bamboo can be grown without pesticides because of its own anti-bacterial agent.
  • Bamboo is 100% biodegradable.
  • Bamboo is soft, naturally antibacterial and hypoallergenic making it great for babies skin.

They forgot to mention that panda bears love bamboo, which is reason enough alone for us to feel likewise. Who doesn't love a panda bear?

Wild Dill is committed to making this planet a better place. That makes them perfect for Earth Day and every day.
