Design By Humans: the t-shirt networking site

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing

Some people think a t-shirt is the simplest unit of a wardrobe -- to others, t-shirts are a way of life. Design By Humans is for the dead serious t-shirt connoisseur -- you know, the kind of person who has a one-of-a-kind graphic tee for each day of the year. Not only is the site packed to the brim with unique t-shirt designs, but DBH asks its users to vote on their favorites -- that's how the company determines which shirts to print.

The way that DBH transcends the average t-shirt site like Busted Tees is that it doubles as a social networking hub for t-shirt designers and printers. Aspiring screen-printers can submit their own designs and vie for the $750 "Shirt of the Day" prize and then get in the running for the "$1750 Shirt of the Month." Whether you're a designer or an t-shirt addict, this is a pretty incredible tool for finding the perfect shirt.
