Posh's jeans sink to new low

Sure, sales weren't exactly stellar, and Posh's meager PR efforts weren't helping the situation -- but this is a new low! The Spice Girl's dVb jeans (you know, the ones that don't show off your bulge), were going for upwards of $290 at trendy LA boutiques. Now, however, they're lining the racks of Loehmann's, an "off-price specialty retailer" (read: the discount store for clothes that nobody wants).And it's not just a couple pairs, either. An accomplice for gossip queen Perez Hilton found entire racks full of them in a Roseda, CA store -- all priced at a considerably more affordable $69.99.
How could someone so famously fashion-forward create such an undesirable pair of pants? We're not entirely sure, but best guess is that Posh deliberately created jeans that aren't in style, telling potential customers that if they like to wear pants that are "very fashiony," then "this isn't really the line for you."
Posh, honey, even if you really believe that "guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops," we promise no one else does -- except maybe customers at Loehmann's. Fingers crossed.
