Save the earth and have a laugh with Cheeky Monkey Jewelry

Filed under: Accessories, Style for a Cause, Green Fashion

A lot of the things happening to our planet are anything but funny. Animals across the globe are facing extinction due to hunting and poaching, loss of habitat, and disease.

However, jewelry designer Simon Cardwell isn't sitting around moping about it. In fact, he's created a line of jewelry, Cheeky Monkey, to bring attention to the plights of numerous endangered animals in a surprisingly fun and smile-inducing way.

  • East Usambara Tree-Hole Crab
  • Emperor Penguin
  • African Elephant
  • The hidden and amazing world of Fungi everywhere
  • Polar Bear
All Cheeky Monkey jewelry is made from 100% reclaimed gold and silver and fair-trade gems. There are a wide variety of designs (plus the possibility of custom pieces), each with an appropriate and witty message, such as the Rhino, which says, "Don't grind my horn!"

To learn more about the endangered species the Cheeky Monkey pendants represent or to get your own, be sure to check out the website.
