Australian Fashion Week: Nicola Finetti

Australian Fashion Week kicked off with a bang yesterday! One of the first designers to hit the runway was Nicola Finetti. The Sydney designer proved that white isn't just for brides anymore.He (yes, Nicole is a he. We were confused about that too) sent a very pale palette down the catwalk, with the overwhelming majority of the dresses in white and cream.
But, while the color scheme might have been sweet and innocent, the silhouettes were certainly interesting enough to give the clothes a harder, stronger edge.
In reality, we liked almost everything we saw in Nicola's collection. Our one complaint would be that a few of the dresses are short enough to give the girls who wear them serious panties-flashing or can't sit down problems. Let's just hope Britney and Paris don't get their hands on any of those dresses!
