Rogan for Target

Filed under: Style in the News

And you thought the green coverage ended last week.

Rogan Gregory -- the eco-friendly winner of the 2007 CFDA award -- has been tapped to create a capsule collection for Target that will roll into stores and online beginning May 18th.

The total collection of safari-inspired swimwear, tops, jumpers, and shorts is made of %100 certified organic cotton, linen, bamboo and hemp.

On why Gregory was chosen to join the hallowed halls of Go International, Trish Adams, senior vice president, Target says: "Rogan Gregory is a talented design partner who will introduce a completely new element of fashion design to our guest. His expertise at fusing organic material with skillful design will show women everywhere how easy it is to be environmentally conscientious while remaining stylish."

Meanwhile, Julie Gilhart, Barneys fashion director, says her store will be carrying the sustainable collection as well as the Los Angeles flagship.
