Give and Take: Vintage t-shirts for a good cause

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Men, Style for a Cause

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

Nothing says comfort like a vintage t-shirt and nothing says feeling good like giving a check to tax deductible charity organizations. Why not combine the two?

It appears to be working for Give and Take.

"The Give and Take collection stimulates social consumerism" in a way that no check from the government can (but we still want our check) by creating an "accessible way to support a cause while shopping for style."

Their vintage "tees communicate a message that intends to ignite a positive response, to awaken to the interconnectedness we all share and encourage activism." The shirts highlight such non-profits as the Boys and Girls Club and Special Olympics, respectively, and Give and Take donates a portion of the sales to their "partner organizations whose work demonstrates a commitment to service and advocacy."

Everyone needs a shirt, why not do some good when you buy one (or two)?
