Tip of the day: Suit up part 4, Tall

Filed under: Clothing, Swimwear and Lingerie, Style Tip of the Day

Oh those lanky, leggy girls who can wear just about anything. Yes, that means the lucky few like Whitney Port, Blake Lively, Paris Hilton, and the fierce (and seriously scary) Naomi Campbell.

We dedicate the last "Suit up" installment to those long ladies that we secretly despise for their limby... uh... ness.

Tall

Do

• Draw attention to your beautiful body with bright colors and bold prints.

• You are quite possible one of ten women in the entire world who can wear a Brazilian cut bottom without making people cry. Let's rephrase that; cry in a "Cover up your scaring the children" way. This type of cut will make long legs look even longer. Actually any bottom with a v-shape will do.

• HA! This is where the rest of us have you beat, if only a small feat – in the curves department. Create some by adding emphasis to your hip area. Use gathered sides, ties, metal hardware, pattern, a low rise or anything else that will draw attention to your hips.

• If your body looks like a supermodel's get to the bathing store and buy the smallest thing you see, fast. Tiny bikinis and triangle tops with minimal coverage are perfect for tall women.

• Monokini's are everywhere. Yet, lanky ladies are the only body type that can pull them off. Have fun with this trendy look. It will also help create that illusion of curve.

Don't

• If you have a body like a tall glass of cold water on a hot day, well, we're stumped. Do whatever the hell you please.
