Lauren Conrad, now making over-priced accessories

Much like teen internet sensation Cory Kennedy and Manchester supermodel Agyness Deyn, you can't knock the hustle of Lauren Conrad.Love them or hate them, these women have drive.
While she lacks any type of design ability and always presents herself as a spoiled self-entitled brat on her show The Hils, Lauren must be commended on her entrepreneurial skills.
She has released a handbag line with Linea Pelle, presented a collection at LA Fashion Week, and is currently gearing up to release a line of accessories with beauty brand, Mark.
It consists of pendents, gold and silver bangles, bejeweled headbands, bold colored totes, dainty metal necklaces with keys hanging at the ends of them and "a special necklace for charity."
It's a cute collection, but so are the pieces from Claires that look almost exactly it. And if we know one thing for sure about Lauren, this line won't come with any "buy 2 get the second half-off" promotion attached to it like Claires. Much like the over-priced jersey dresses and tops, we're gonna have to make a pass on this, too.

I long for the days when "designers" had to be talented and fashion was considered an art form...and I'm only 31. Things have to be pretty dismal to get me longing for anything.
Also, it's pendants.
