Why aren't you wearing this? Multicolored Beaded Coil Bracelet

As we've said a million times, the easiest way to wear a trend is to wear it as an accessory. You might not be completely comfortable wearing an entirely yellow outfit, but you might like a bright yellow purse. Or, if you're digging the safari trend but don't want to look like you just got back from one, the right belt or hat can give you the look you want without quite as much commitment.

Why aren't you wearing this?

  • Cosmic Cuff by Gerard Yusca
  • Cream Ribbon Triple Headband
  • Old Navy Patent Ballet Flat
  • Ben Sherman 'Vixen'
  • Banana Republic Faceted Gem Drop Earrings
We think this Multicolored Beaded Coil Bracelet, $11.99 at JCPenney, is a great way to get a bit of an ethnic, tribal feel into your look without wearing a patterned dress or headscarf. The bright colors, tassels, and random beadwork give it a more primitive quality, almost a little unfinished, but still right on trend.

And, while it's somewhat trendy now, we think this is a piece you'll be able to get some use out of in years to come -- vibrant colors and textures always come back in fashion!
