Princess Anne's thrifty wardrobe
Filed under: Clothing, Dresses, Celebrities with Style

Well, perhaps Jennifer Lopez' babies can't wear the same outfit twice, but Princess Anne isn't above it. On several occasions, the Princess has worn an outfit on separate occasions. In fact, she did so just this weekend.
She first wore a Maureen Baker white and yellow dress 27 years ago to the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, and wore it again this Saturday to Lady Rose Windsor's nuptials, complete with the same yellow flowered hat.
There have been several other occasions on which she has donned an ensemble years after it's first wear, but she says, "A good suit goes on forever. If it is properly made and has a classic look you can go on wearing it ad infinitum. Economy is bred into me."
Also, props to the Princess for fitting into the same dress more than 25 years later -- we'd be tempted to do the same thing!

I love it! This is how the truly rich behave. And this generation of royals has always been very green. Reuse!
