Most of us are always getting suckered into trying new, innovative beauty products. Well the time has come to put down your drugstore cards and get down to the bare bones of it all. Try these simple recipes for hair that is naturally gorgeous.

Coconut oil: Great for dandruff and hair growth.

How to use
: Simply massage into the scalp and go.

Olive oil, lemon juice, and coconut oil combo: Olive oil aids moisture to actual hair while coconut oil diminishes dryness to scalp. Lemon juice cleanses.

How to use:
Pour hot water onto a towel. Massage into concoction and wrap towel onto hair for 15 minutes allowing for deep penetration (hehe!).

Hibiscus flowers: Hibiscus cleans the hair and leaves a lovely scent.

How to use
: Crush hibiscus flower leaves (at least five) and wash your hair with the juices.

Tea: Just like tea cleanses the body, it cleanses the hair

How to use:
Use a tea wash once a week.

Curd, beer and egg: It probably smells as gross as it sounds but it will leave your hair looking so vital and conditioned that you won't care.

How to use
: Mix the combo together and apply after a shampoo.

Vinegar: Vinegar really deep cleanses but also leaves bounce believe it or not.

How to use
: Add warm water and pat onto hair until saturated. Rinse with cool water.

Gooseberry and milk mix: Gooseberry and milk will help gently clean and moisturize parched hair.

How to use:
Let the gooseberry's soak in a cup of milk for a few hours (at least two). Then mash it in a paste and put it in the hair.

Might sound a little hippie dippie but you also might find your miracle formula in one of these regular grocery store items.
