Lauren Conrad's clothing line is as fake as The Hills

No! We would have never guessed -- oh wait, yes -- we already did guess. Lauren Conrad is not actually the one designing the clothes in her fashion line. Yep, that's right. Her clothing line is as about as real as The Hills.
L.C.'s line is supposedly done behind the scenes by a woman who used to design for Tart -- Sherri Roozrak-Wood.
A source says of Lauren, "You never see her picking out fabrics, or in the cutting room, or even at the drawing board. She's not the designer, the only step she's involved in is the promotion."
Of course, Lauren's has denied the whole thing. Her response to these serious accusations was, "These claims are ridiculous. Anyone who knows me knows how important designing is to me and how much time and devotion I put into my own line. I am and always have been the sole designer of the Lauren Conrad Collection."

lol omg just stop the non sense and leave her alone! if a girl can dress fashionably great then no doubt that she can also design well. as i can see lauren dress up good so leave her alone! and besides her dress collections are not exactly as fabulous as chanel so it's not that big of a deal

OMG! Burn! Kira Plastinina's MTV show is on tomorrow night. I wonder how much of her stuff she designs? I think her line is pretty cute.
