Invisible clothing, do you own any?
Here's something from the weird, but strangely awesome file:Recent reports suggest that scientists may be very close to creating the proper materials needed to make a real-life invisibility cloak. We know, Harry Potter fans across the globe are totally losing their s*** right now. Apparently, researchers have been able thus far "to cloak three-dimensional objects using artificially engineered materials that redirect light around the objects."
In the past, scientists could only make two-dimensional objects temporarily disappear. While we would use the invisibility cloak whenever we didn't have anymore clean laundry, the science community has a much more important mission for their new invention: military operations. Hopefully, soldiers may one day be able to sneak up on their enemies without them being the wiser. Very cool, no?
