Try this on for size: Yigal Azrouël is now a condom designer

How's this for confusing? Israeli born designer Yigal Azrouël has teamed up with Proper Attire -- a company dedicated to women's health -- to design effeminate looking men's condoms for women to carry. It took a little digging on their website to confirm that they're actually the normal condom that we know and love -- not the less popular female type.

What's unique about these fashionable jimmy hats is that they are sealed in a inconspicuous cardboard package that won't embarrass you when it falls out of your Chanel handbag at the check-out counter. Great, but will they match these undies with condom pockets?

We're not sure exactly why women are getting duped into carrying men's condoms, but we're even more confused at why they've chosen a fashion designer to put his mark on the things. Guess a fashion designer does have some experience with taking measurements and fitting parts of the body, but we doubt that Yigal was really a part of that process. Proceeds from the sales of these condoms go to Planned Parenthood, which explains some of why Azrouël was willing to take on the projects. According to him:
"Having grown up with five sisters, causes related to women's health and wellness are close to my heart. I love being able to apply my passion for design to raise awareness for Planned Parenthood®. My business is largely founded on designing for women, so it is really about taking that mindset and applying it to a product like PROPER ATTIRE® to figure out what appeals to a woman."
