Artemis Woman heated eyelash curler vs. old school Sephora

Filed under: Product Reviews, Must Haves, Beauty Tips

Face off!

We got the Artemis Woman Double Curl (above) to find out once and for all if heated eyelash curling is any better than regular eyelash curling.

Our "control" curler in this experiment is the regular Sephora curler (above). Read on for results!
As you can see in the gallery, the heat really does make a difference close up! From far away though, there's no huge difference. My eyes look like they might be different shapes, but one isn't necessarily any better than the other. The heated lash curler definitely wreaked more havoc on my mascara, so if you're gonna go heated, do it pre-mascara. The old-school curler is a little kinder, but really, you should always curl pre-mascara. You knew that and so did we and we've all done it anyway. Whoops!

But! Here we are an hour later:
Heat-curled eyelashes totally last longer!
Eureeka! The heated eyelash curler totally wins the time test, hands down. So. Now we know. Heat-curled lashes totally outlast regular-curled lashes.
