Every once in a while, a product so outrageously extravagant and loud comes out that it boggles the mind that anyone would purchase it, braving the fiery death glares that they will surely face from strangers. A team-up between Samsonite and Swarovski have come up with such a product... Behold, the Samsonite Black Label trunk, covered in crystals and -- get this -- only 30 are in existence. Now, this thing is massive, so there's no way to subtly flash it like it's darling diamond earrings hiding under your hair until you pull it up. This thing is immediately and absolutely in-your-face and begging to be kicked over and smashed in a jealous rampage.

The close-ups on the site are positively droolworthy, but we have got to wonder what purpose this serves. Surely even the most glamorous of celebrities can understand that using this as a real piece of traveling gear is painfully impractical and kind of dangerous, as losing even one crystal can ruin the entire effect. Plus, it's kind of bulky as a sit-around, show-off piece by one's coffee table.

Since the price tag of a super-limited edition is surely a number too big for us to comprehend, we'll just leave this for on-line staring for now. Well, that is unless someone wants to send one to us.
