The International Herald Tribune is shutting down its online presence soon, which means those infamous and slightly off kilter fashion slideshows that have been the brain child of Suzy Menkes for so long will be no more soon. Bummer, indeed. Hopefully, though, someone will give the icon the ability to continue voicing her opinions on the internet.

Meanwhile, a group of Menkes' admirers -- designers, editors, models -- recently came together to celebrate the legend's twentieth year in the fashion industry. As Dries Van Noten told Style.com of Menkes: "She's really been like the mother of young designers -- saying good things to stimulate and saying bad things when its necessary to punish." In this video, watch a few other famous faces gush over the funky lady. And no, Marc Jacobs isn't one of them. We guess it's kind of hard to forgive someone who once offered to strangle you.
