Lauren Conrad showed at L.A. Fashion Week yesterday and we must say that the collection was a profound improvement on anything she's sent down the runway in the past.

Maybe The Hills star has been taking the criticism that past collections were too boring to heart, but this time there were actually dresses made from fabrics with *gasp* patterns!

Honestly, while none of the garments looked terribly high fashion, they were pretty all darn cute. Everything seemed like something that Lauren herself would actually wear -- classic, simple and chic. If the price point wasn't so high, we might actually consider buying a few items!

We also liked that LC, in a possible nod to Gossip Girl, styled the models with huge flowers in their hair and on their belts. We're willing to bet that she's just as addicted to the show as we are and Blair's accessorizing has rubbed off on her!
