Feathers - Tip of the day!

Does the idea of wearing feathers freak you out? Well it shouldn't. There are ways to wear this fad that will make you look like a style super star. Plus, the trend breaks all age barriers so anyone that is willing can give it a whirl.Birds of a feather flock together with these tips:
• According to designer Kevan Hall*, "Feathers create volume. Avoid wearing them where you want to look slimmest."
• If you do plan on wearing the look head to toe, make sure you keep accessories to a very bare minimum.
• If you don't want to go full on feather, try just a wisp of it at the bottom of your dress.
• Channel Project Runway's Kenley and wear a 50's inspired headpiece. Too much? Opt for a headband, barrette or hairpin.
• If wearing feathers flat out makes you nervous, give it a go by way of inexpensive accessories so that once the trend goes out, you won't feel bad about your buy. A textured earring or bag can enhance the look dramatically without making you feel uncomfortable.
