Top 5 natural and organic beauty brands - Tip of the day!

Filed under: Skin Care, Style Tip of the Day, Beauty Tips

A lot of us want to "go green" but aren't sure where to start. Here's a little kick in the butt to get you going. We have scoured beauty shelves to find the top 5 best selling natural and organic makeup brands so that you can start to restock your supplies the natural way.

Bare Escentuals

This mineral makeup brand is far and away number one. It makes good on its promise of flawless skin without a heavy makeup feel. Plus the starter kits are super easy to use and include everything you need to get going.

Tarte

We've always been a huge fan of Tarte's cheekstains but had no idea that they were all natural. Kudos Tarte! Plus, they come with an active combo known as superfruits – goji, acai, maracuja, acerola, and pomergranate – along with many other antioxidants so that natural flush is exactly that!

Nvey eco

Alright so this line is a little bit pricy but it is one of the few that is certified organic, gives an incredible performance, and doesn't lack in color. We think all of that, plus the fact that it's cruelty free, makes it worth its salt.

Korres

Ever since we heard Drew Barrymore was a huge Korres fan, we decided to see what all the fuss was about but we ended up making quite a fuss ourselves. Their super moisturizing lip butter also leaves a nice sheer wash of color, that is great for day or but also an excellent way to keep lips hydrated beneath lipstick at night.

DuWop

Lip venom is actually cruelty free – who knew? We absolutely love the way Venom Gloss' essential oil blend leaves our lips looking a little more swollen and sexy than they were a moment before we put it on.
