Rosie Huntington-Whitely: High off of the Green Stuff Only Now

Filed under: Style in the News

The house of Burberry is to the UK what Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren it to the United States: iconic, respected, and wildly popular amongst those in the know.

As one could already surmise, the competition between modeling agencies to get their best girls fronting these particular ad campaigns each season can be fierce to say the least. With one booking, a model can go from a practical unknown to a star in the industry.

So imagine how pouty-lipped Rosie Huntington-Whitely felt when she got the call that she would be fronting Burberry's fall ad campaign. Excited for sure, right? Well, her joy didn't last too long. Someone snapped the Victoria's Secret babe sniffing the white stuff and Burberry quietly fired her immediately after the pictures came to light. Don't feel too sorry for the girl just yet, though.

Much like Kate Moss, who also lost her job with Burberry due to drug use, Rosie has already bounced back -- landing a gig with Green Thing: "a new online community that encourages users to be that little more environmentally aware."

Eh, whatever. We're just glad you've got a job boo because you can't afford to skip any meals!
