We pretty much take for granted that most Hollywood hotties of a certain age have probably had Botox injections to keep their faces free of lines. But, how young is too young for a woman to start having the procedure done? And, more importantly, at what age do doctors begin suggesting it?

Of course, it depends on the person's skin -- at 22, a woman could have more wrinkles than another at 30 -- and on their perception -- some women are far more concerned about smile lines than others. To find out what doctors' are recommending, the NY Daily News sent a young-looking 26-year-old woman to four different doctors, with surprising results.

The first two doctors she saw were unaware that she was there for research, and both said that Botox would not be a bad idea, with one of them admitting that she had treated a 22-year-old with Botox. The last two doctors knew that she was a reporter doing an article on Botox for young women, and the first still said, "For someone like you, who at your young age is already developing those lines, I think Botox would be reasonable."

It wasn't until the fourth doctor that this young woman, who is frequently carded at bars and occasionally at R-rated movies, was told she was not a candidate for Botox, Juvederm, Restalyne, or any other cosmetic procedure. The moral of the story? Don't rely on just a doctor's opinion -- rely more on how you think you look!
