Ew! Yellow is harsh, sickly color and impossible for anyone who is lighter than a tan-a-holic to pull off. Thank goodness I don't listen to so called fashion experts.

There are a whole lot of folks who don't look good in yellow... There is only one shade of yellow that look fairly good on me, but I tend to go for the blue reds, purples, emeral green and just plain blue. It has to do with my own skin tones. You do better not always following the trends and instead knowing what colors look best on you and using those color plallets only. Like greens... if they have a yellow cast to them I look like I am green around the gills so to speak. Orange reds give me a strange cast, too...

The trick with yellow, especially if your skin tone doesn't work with it, is to wear a yellow belt, or get a trendy yellow purse, or even a yellow necklace or bracelet. Not a big investment but still keeping up with the trends if you care to.

Let's see: Yellow is "The Color" for 2009. A new president was just elected, and he plans to pull out of Iraq as soon as he can, and to keep on protecting the "rights" of those who wish to kill unborn babies. Is there a connection?..........Hmmmmmm!
