Goodbye Statement Necklace, Hello Statement Earrings - Tip of the Day!

Filed under: Accessories, Style Tip of the Day

Fashion is always about the transition into something else, something new. So in the spirit of evolution, we hereby announce that the day of the statement necklace is dead. Today, it's all about the statement-making, shoulder-dusting, gemstone-filled earring ala Reese Witherspoon in November's Vogue. We haven't seen earrings this big since Beyonce made them a staple in the early 2000's and we are loving every minute of pulling ours out of the back bin.

Shoulder dusters and chandeliers are such an easy way to glamorize any outfit and draw attention upward, to fabulous makeup and hair, and away from ate-too-much-at-Christmas tummies. And with fashion the way it is today, they work for day or night. Use them to add some pizazz to that tired office look or to elevate your favorite LBD on date night. Just make sure they are extra chunky for a more modern take.
