Victoria Beckham's Nemesis Lands Vogue Cover

If you're British you probably already know what a WAG is, but for those of our non-UK readers, let us clarify -- a WAG is a Wife and (or) Girlfriend of a professional soccer player. And amongst the WAG's, there is no bigger rivalry than that of Victoria Beckham, wife of David, and Cheryl Cole, wife of Ashley.Aside from the fact that they're both WAG's, similarities include their celebrity coming via participation in an all girl group, super skinniness, their husbands cheating on them, enormous fake boobs and a thirst for fashion and fame.
Supposedly, Posh lusted after a spot on the front of British Vogue for years, before finally being given the honor. However, Cheryl as a relative newcomer on the scene, has had no problems scoring the coveted cover. That must have been a blow to Victoria!
And maybe, just maybe, the magazine is playing up the rivalry. Their photo shoots look awfully similar in terms of lighting, colors and styling -- don't you think?
