Fashion Designer Moves in on Madonna's Man

Alex Rodriguez must be quite the charmer. Either that or he's got a huge *ahem* catcher's mitt. First he seemingly cast a spell on one of Hollywood's elite, Madonna. But now that she's reportedly romping with a Brazilian boytoy, Jesus Luz, another older woman has her sights set on A-Rod.Over New Year's Eve the good looking baseball player flew into Parrot Bay where he partied with A-listers, including Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis (does anyone else think it's creepy, not cute, that these three go everywhere together, even without the kids?). However, one guest in particular caught his eye -- the fashion mogul behind DKNY, Donna Karan.
Probably hoping to get an NYE kiss, he got "very close to [Karan] who only had eyes for him and followed him around all night on New Year's Eve."
But, when push came to shove, A-Rod didn't seal the deal. He's still "still hung up on Madonna," and turned Donna down.
That's too bad. We were looking forward to converting another athlete over to the fashion world, a la Sean Avery.
