Who thought that shoes and cars could share style elements? Nissan and ecko unltd. did. The two companies, both style gurus in their respective industries, have done more than merely "mash" together, according to Marc Ecko -- they took style you'd see in the sneaker world and elevated it to the level of the automobile for an effect "cooler than what other auto makers might do." Called shift_unltd., the products are two vehicles and a number of accessories and apparel.
On Nissan's end, the Pathfinder is pimped out with black-on-gray camouflage paint, orange accents, a new grille, and orange and wood accents in the interior. The Armada hosts a white and orange paint scheme, huge wheels, whitewalled tires and a cream and tan interior.
Images of the clothes haven't been released yet (except for what looks like a Jolly Roger broach and leather attache case), but we'll keep you posted. The vehicles and their matching clothes and accessories will go on sale in early October.

No, it's not a new high-powered supercar, but the Asus Lamborghini-VX1 will still turn some, albeit geeky, heads. Scheduled to debut in Monterey, California at the 2006 Concorso Italiano "Celebration of Italian Style" on August 18th, the laptop produced by Asus Computer International is borrowing the Lambo name to gain a little mileage out of its newest high-end notebook. The laptop will be unveiled at a press conference at Lamborghini's tent and will be featured at both the Asus and Lambo stands throughout the event.Filed under: Haute Home, Accessories
Pininfarina, a design house often linked with the successes of exotic automakers Maserati and Ferrari, took a break from penning supercars to working on something a little more affordable. The Italian design house teamed up with SimpleTech to produce portable hard drives that have all the curves, gloss and style of the world's hottest sports cars. The devices range in capacity from 40 GB to 100 GB and feature 5400 rpm drives. Prices range from $110 to $180 and come in car-friendly colors; red, gray, silver, white and black.Filed under: Accessories
Swedish automaker Spyker is known for designing cars with exotic, sexy lines and an aggressive stance, but you don't have to be a car buff with a few hundred thousand dollars to blow in order ride in style... if you don't mind breaking a sweat, that is.
Spyker has teamed up with Koga, a company known for its distinctive bicycles, to produce the Aeroblade. The bicycle sports many of the same materials used to produce the ultra-luxury vehicles that serve as the model's namesake --titanium for the frame, aluminum for the front fork and wheels, aluminum-covered carbon composite for the mudgaurds, and Hulshof luxury leather for the handle bar grips and saddle. Even the colors are inspired by those adorning the automaker's endurance race car.
Exclusivity comes at a price of $12,540 with only 50 units produced.

Ferrari is the epitome of the exotic car. It's best known for its high-performing, exotic-looking, ass-kicking supercars -- descriptions Acer is hoping will carry over along with the brand name adorning its new notebooks. The leading notebook producer for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and sponsor of racing team Scuderia Ferrari have introduced the new Ferrari 5000 and Ferrari 1000 series, two notebooks incorporating the technology usually only found in the world of Formula One racing. A carbon fiber casing encloses an AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile processor and comes with several options, including a web cam, HD-DVD drive, Acer VoIP Bluetooth phone connectivity, and more. And, most importantly, the laptops are available in black and "Ferrari red."
