Celebrity McCain supporters - why won't they show the love?
It would be easier to find Waldo in a sea of clones than a McCain/Palin t-Shirt on the back of a fashion-forward celebrity (trust us, we looked -- and the options were slim to none!). Of course, there was Elizabeth Hasselbeck in her bright red "AmeriCaine" tee and the vocally-Republican Hollywood lovebirds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt -- who were spotted in McCain/Palin shirts.

Sarah Palin, Amy Winehouse and Elliot Spitzer lead the pack of top ten costumes at Ricky's
Filed under: Get the Look
Okay, so the Halloween mega-store, Ricky's NYC, isn't exactly saying that the costumes are based on these celebrities, but it doesn't take a scientist to figure it out. For example, with her stars and stripes bikini, rimless glasses, and brunette bun -- it's clear that the "Miss Alaska" costume is meant to be vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Ditto for the jet black beehive and ultra short dress of "Rehab Queen" costume, which is obviously singer, Amy Winehouse.

Filed under: Style in the News
Just because you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, doesn't mean you were born with manners. Case in point: 37-year-old Mathias Guerrand-Hermes, heir to the uber-luxurious Hermes empire. The "socialite" and "polo player" is charged with assaulting an Air France captain during a transatlantic flight from Paris to New York.Continue reading “Heir to Hermes fortune shows his rowdy side”

OK, so file this under things you never thought you needed -- but just might: military grade Kevlar handkerchief. The price is not available, but its purpose is obvious: to protect you from gunshot wounds at, presumably, swanky events where an elegant jacket and pocket square might be worn.

The million-dollar Louis Vuitton brief case
Filed under: Celebrities with Style

The brief case itself only retails for around $1,800. But it was the goodies inside that gave the product added value: $1,000,000 U.S dollars in cold, hard cash. Thats what rapper Lil Wayne got for his 26th birthday party last week at Mansion nightclub in Miami.
The cash gift was a present from his friend and mentor, fellow rapper, Baby aka Birdman. Forget living above the law, it looks like rappers are living above the economic meltdown.
