Broke fashionistas everywhere, rejoice -- Alexander McQueen is coming to Target! The internationally renowned designer will be doing a line called McQ for the retail giant as part of a new program they're starting.

Fashion may have "gone ugly," according to the headlines over at Fashion Indie. But, we have to admit we kind of like it. Gone are the days when women dressed solely to impress men. We're now dressing to impress each other and man, that's a tough audience.

Those who have a ton of discreationary dollars to blow on expensive duds this month, listen up:

Alexander McQueen, the British designer who presents his lush collections in Paris every year, will be showing a runway presentation over at net-a-porter.com that secretly took place in Milan earlier this year.

In addition to the McQueen viral video that will be streaming on the e-commerce site starting today, the designer will begin selling eight looks straight off the runway in the video exclusively to Net-a-Porter.

The mini collection will include "a fitted skirt suit with pagoda structured shoulders, a tailored crepe all-in-one and a selection of body-conscious day and evening dresses."

Celebrity spokesmodels have long been used to help stores and brands gain recognition and fans. Normally, the celebrities are people we want to emulate, like Kate Moss or Angelina Jolie. However, British department store Harvey Nichols is trying a slightly different type of model -- specifically, the claymation duo Wallace and Gromit.

Her fashion sense reflects her name in our books – joyous. At the Alexander McQueen store opening in L.A. a few months back, the lovely Joy Bryant wore one of the designer's killer tiger stripped strapless maxi dresses.

Only Joy can make something that could go so terribly wrong look so right... and cute! We just love how she always has such a casual glamor about her. Hell, she pulls off McQueen with a jean jacket better than anyone we know.

Our world is officially rocked. If men are pulling off pantyhose (or mantyhose) these days, then it's hard to really fault someone for pairing sock with sandals (if you can call them sandals) -- especially when it actually looks good. Not wear it out in public good, mind you, but good in that 'wow that doesn't even really look offensive' kind of way. Actually, we think they look like some sort of couture bowling shoes.

What could be better than shopping for designer duds in your pajamas (imported silk lounging pajamas, of course)? Alexander McQueen is making that possible -- not with a flagship store slumber party, but with a new online store.

Not all that long ago, butt crack fashion was only popular among hip hop circles, prison gangs, and members of a certain profession dealing with pipes and drains. Now, butt cleavage is apparently working its way to the top of the female fashion hierarchy -- right next to traditional cleavage. So, move over whale-tail, the next big movement in 21st century raunchy couture is all about the beauty of the extreme lower back.

As low rise jean keep migrating down the hips, it seems that lingerie designers are starting to explore the cheap thrill of assless fashion. More and more, we're starting to see panties with these risqué butt windows. From Alexander McQueen's expeditions into uncharted low-rise territory, to Heidi Klum's butt-crack dress last winter-- it seems that the fashion world has become addicted to crack. You might even call it the fashion fetish of our time, but we think it's a little too early to tell.

We deeply respect an individual's right to wear whatever kind of swimsuit they want -- or even their right not to wear one -- but we totally did a double-take when we saw Alexander McQueen's creepy neck-binding men's swimsuit. In fact, we kind of did that thing where you vomit a little in the back of your throat. Some have compared it to Borat's famous over-the-shoulder thong, but honestly -- we think this one is much worse.

The thing about swimsuits is that they are meant to cover only what is deem inappropriate in public. For men, that's usually below the waist (unless they've got an outrageously hairy back). This suit looks more like some kind of kinky dominatrix outfit than something a person would choose to wear. Plus, it seems like it might pose a strangulation hazard if you wore it out on the water. What do you say -- is it really as hideous as we think it is?

Could it be that this suit was designed for women vacationing in Southern France? Maybe this guy was handed it by mistake.

We're a little bit obsessed with stripes right now, even though we used to shy away from them big time, unless they were narrow and vertical.

I am a bit of a makeup junkie. I have every eyeshadow, lip gloss, bronzer, powder, pouf, and brush under the sun -- except for this. What is this you ask? This is the new cosmetic collection for MAC designed by Alexander McQueen.

British bad-boy/fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been wowing us on the runway for years, and now he brings his creative talent to your face. In McQueen's last fashion show he was inspired by Cleopatra. It took a little bit of work to perfect the look for his runway show, but once it was perfected, it was gold. Well, not so much gold, but vibrant blues and greens.

Now he is bringing those runway colors to a cosmetic counter near you. This month MAC is releasing his 16-piece collection that was developed specifically for his show. Something tells me this collection will do just as well (if not better) than the MAC Loves Barbie campaign. I know I will be waiting in line.

Though the buzzlicious heyday of restaurant Katana on Sunset in West Hollywood has come and gone, I am having a bit of a renewed love affair with the smoky robata, the sexy shots of fancy sake, and most importantly, the scene on the patio that's always wall-to-wall beautiful people.

And when I say "beautiful," I mean as drop-dead gorgeous as these perfectly pink satin shoes we spied in the bar area. At first, you might be turned off by what would seem a gaudy floral attachment at the back of the ankles, but ladies, be not ye so quick to judge! These Alexander McQueen platform sandals with an ankle strap were stunning, paired with a simple outfit on top.

I only recently made a MySpace profile, and I think I was the very last person on the planet to sign up. Everyone has one -- and it's practically required if you're young, hip and into fashion trends. That's why Alexander McQueen has launched a new marketing campaign with ads designed by young people the company hand-picked from MySpace.

The design house found 35 kids (all under 21) based on the "flair and imagination they showed" on their MySpace profile. Then they invited all 35 to the McQ studio, where the kids were "given full access to the collection and asked to document their approach to creating an image video or instillation using the items they selected."

In the end, 8 ads were chosen, and are being used, unaltered, in the company's new campaign. Not only was this a fantastic idea for targeting the coveted 18-24 demographic, but the results are phenomenal -- I can't believe they were created almost entirely by teenagers.
