We loved the jewelry Robert Lee Smith designed for Mary Kate and Ashley's clothing line Elizabeth and James...especially the dagger necklace. But at $525, it's a bit much to spend on a piece of costume jewelry.

After months of anticipation, we finally received our very own copy of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's not-just-for-your-coffee-table book. And, as expected, we love it. Influence is a hardcover masterpiece – featuring interviews with the world's most famous designers, artists, photographers, and taste-makers including: designer Diane von Furstenberg, shoe maven Christian Louboutin, and cheeky photographer Terry Richardson.

As Ashley explained: "We want this book to be something that is filled with interesting things about the art world and fashion. I'd like to think that this book is inspiring people to read about or focus on other things than just the over-saturated, scandal-driving media."

We're fans of the Adidas by Stella McCartney line, so we were excited to read over at That's Fit that the sports brand has a new yoga line coming out that was designed with celebrity yogini Rainbeau Mars.

It's been a while since PETA came up with an idea hilarious enough to win us over, but this one has truly awesome/disgusting/ridiculous potential. It's centered around the fact that it's the Olsen twins' birthday this Friday -- the 13th -- and PETA wants the twins to receive some freaky gifts in the mail. Their idea: to have all fur-haters send them a birthday package containing some hair clippings and a note that says 'please, use my hair instead of the animals.'

Nicknamed the Trollsen Twins by PETA's Olsen-hating website -- Hairy Kate and Trashley -- the animal rights group apparently hates them because they use fur in the celebrity clothing line. We're OK with fur, but we think we might send some beard trimmings anyway -- just for a laugh. The sad thing about this gag is knowing that some poor intern will end up being the one to open all the disgusting hair packages.

It seems like easy breezy boho is here to stay, which makes us lazy folk very happy. We've all had a couple of years to get this look down pat but we haven't quite figured out what to do with our hair. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have achieved moderate success with their first fashion line, The Row. We suppose they figured, "Hey, we did OK with that, let's try another one." So they began a second line, this one called Elizabeth & James, after their siblings.

Why not? Even if it fails, it's not like the girls are going to go bankrupt.

The Olsen twins didn't want to ruin their stylist, Estee Stanley's wedding by attracting too much attention from the paparazzi, so they did what anyone trying to look inconspicuous would do -- they put on Carver Masks (thank you Nip/Tuck for providing us with two straight seasons of Carver nightmares).
