I recently had the opportunity to get made up by Catalina Ceballos, a makeup artist and teacher at DEX New York, a salon frequented by Tyra Banks and Posh (Victoria Beckham). This is me before, rockin' my pink hair for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Catalina took off all my makeup except my eyeliner, which she liked (it's a dark brown Lancome shadow applied with water). She trimmed my eyebrows, and brushed on a special shade of Tinted Hydrator, SPF 20, which she created for me by blending two shades. DEX New York's Tinted Hydrator has ginkgo biloba and ginseng to increase circulation.

Catalina then applied loose and pressed powder, again using two shades blended with a kabuki brush. She used a mineral illuminator auto-pen on my undereye circles over the powder.

Some people, like Victoria Beckham, just say "phooey!" to the concept of looking natural. The thinking is that you deserve credit for the time and effort you put into creating your look. If you think the worst insult is for someone to think those are your real nails, then you're in the Posh Spice fake nails club. With tips whiter than humanly possible, and so long and strong you can pick a lock, acrylics are a wonder solution for the ladies who love them. Celebrity kids have it made in the shade -- or really rough -- depending on how you look at it. On one hand, doors open for them just because they have famous parents. On the other hand, they have a lot to live up to and often struggle coming out from under their mom or dad's shadow. But, in a few cases, some celebrity offspring have managed to become instant style icons.

Anne might be sick of the Beckhams and glad to see Police Sunglasses and Gillette letting the soccer star go as their front man, but I could never tire of that perfectly posh Mrs. Beckham! And thankfully, even if we may never see either of their mugs plastered on billboard or magazine ads, we can browse the day away over at her new website, dvbstyle.

The site is scheduled to launch on October 30, in conjunction with the release of her new book, That Extra Half Inch. According to the temporary front page of the site, Mrs. Beckham will use the site as a place to "make sure you are the first to know how [her] collections are developing, when exclusive pieces will be available," as well as "webisodes."

The Poshest Spice Girl of them all, Victoria Beckham, will be releasing a book this October all about fashion and shopping, That Extra Half Inch. Strangely, she admits to never having read a single book in her life. Oh well, maybe this one is all pictures.

Mrs. David Beckham is regarded as quite the fashionista, and will give fashion advice/opinions in the book. One of her tips is to never wear flat shoes with skinny jeans, which makes a person look like a golf club. Always wear heels, but apparently, Vistoria doesn't like wedge heels, as she says "you can look like your feet are cased in cement."

*gasp!* Does this mean I have to toss out all my summer wedges?!?!
