Seafood Lobby Says Get Well Soon, Faker - Celebrity Diets

Filed under: Fashionable Food, Celebrities with Style

After his recent Broadway shake up, you've probably heard that Jeremy Piven adheres to a strict pesco-vegetarian diet to keep up his trim figure. According to Piven, that's why he not so gracefully bowed out of a Broadway production of Mamet's Speed the Plow at the last minute -- due to mercury poisoning. Well, now the seafood industry is firing back in an attempt to defend the safety of a slimming fish diet. We have to admit, they're pretty convincing.

Katie Holmes - Broadway StyleFoul!

Katie Holmes
We appreciate the fact that Katie Holmes takes fashion risks -- being as tall and thin as she is, she can pull off a lot of craziness that we mere mortals couldn't dream of wearing. However, that doesn't mean she should wear whatever she wants, because there's just no excuse for wearing this on the opening night of your Broadway debut.

Annie Leibowitz gives us a live, nude Daniel Radcliffe

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Annie Leibowitz, unbowed by the continuing controversy over the nude (but really, so chaste) Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo, is back with more teenage skin shots!

Her latest subject is the exhibitionist Daniel Radcliffe. There are no modesty sheets for Harry Potter, he's ready for full frontal, thanks very much. With a horse. And his Uncle Vernon!

Ugly Betty on Broadway?

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

We told you that Ugly Betty was packing it up and heading off to NYC. Now it looks like they might try to branch out into some kind of all-singing, all-dancing Broadway musical when they get there. According to cast member Michael Urie -- who plays assistant Marc St. James on the show -- a project that started with the idea to turn one episode into a musical is now being spun off into an actual stage production. Here's what he told Britain's Heart FM:

"They do want to do an "Ugly Betty" musical, a full-on Broadway musical, but it's all hush-hush. I think it would be great, and they should use the cast from the show. I think we would all do it, although we maybe don't dance and sing as well as professional singers and dancers. I think it would be fun for us to do it for a while, and then they could get real people in. They definitely want to do an episode that is a musical one, but then they want to do a full stage show. I think it's a great idea. It would definitely work."

Monopoly: Sephora Edition

Filed under: Style in the News, Cosmetics

As reported by Fashion Week Daily, beauty superstore Sephora is teaming up with the makers of a classic board game to create a Sephora edition of Monopoly.

Players will collect and spend Beauty Bucks, can end up in jail for heinous offenses like "bad hair days", incur fines for streaky self-tanner, and buy Sephora bags and Sephora storefronts for their purchased property in lieu of "houses" and "hotels".

I'm not yet sure which brand name has snagged the advertising rights to the properties that will replace "Park Place and Broadway", but some of the beauty advertising gurus such as Nars, Stila, and Murad will have their names on Cheek Street, Gloss Gardens, and Cleanser Crossing, respectively.

The new Sephora edition of Monopoly retails for $45.
