Drew Barrymore has been announced as the latest face of CoverGirl joining other pretty faces such as Tyra Banks, Queen Latifah and Christie Brinkley. Drew, who also has a new movie coming out with Eric Bana, had her first photo shoot in Los Angeles recently. She is also the co-creative director for her first commercial with CoverGirl, which won't debut until January 2008. It seems a good match. Maybe they want to prove that a drugstore brand of mascara is just as good as -- or hell, even better than -- a department store brand mascara (but we already knew that). Whatever their intention, they are giving away a free LashExact mascara when you turn in your old department store mascara. Supposedly, LashExact has a "breakthrough brush" that doesn't clump and gives "great definition and length," and "superb separation." Well, you'll never know how good (or maybe not that good) until you try, so why not?
