Fergie is full of holiday cheer! Yesterday, Fergie unveiled the 550 pound, 9.5 foot Swarovski Star adorned with over 25,000 Swarovski crystals that will sit atop the famed Rockefeller Center Holiday tree. Watch the above video to see the unveiling (wait for it).

You gotta wonder how much they pay celebrities just to say "Um...I'm famous. Photograph me by this." Maybe they didn't pay her for her humps this time, though; it was for charity.

Desperate Housewives, one of the most popular shows on television these days, is feeling the credit crunch too. The wardrobe people are having to limit their spending and save cash in the costume department on set!

I hit up a fundraiser for Charity: Water at Saks Fifth Avenue the other night, and while celebs like Mischa Barton, Diane von Furstenberg, Ashleigh Verrier and BMX rider Nigel Sylvester added some wattage, I was really transfixed by Alex McCord (pictured) and Simon van Kempen from the show The Real Housewives of NYC.

I chatted with Alex and Simon a few days before at Bravo's A-List awards, and at the time I heard some rumblings that the NYC ladies weren't getting along with their OC counterparts. I asked them for a little re-cap on that evening's fight, and this is what Simon told me:

"They [the OC cast] have a huge chip on their shoulder. Do you know why? Their husbands tried to get on the red carpet [at the A-List Awards] and they weren't allowed on, and so the OC wives were angry about me. They were angry that their husbands didn't get on the red carpet and I did."

When I asked if they're still fighting, Simon said that "We've had some emails back and forth since then."

Since it's been disgustingly hot and sticky lately, I also asked Alex how she tames her naturally curly tresses in the humidity. She shared: "I usually keep style cream in my bag to slick it back with, or if worse comes to worst I use hand lotion."

Then being the good sport she is, Alex gamely rummaged around and showed me the tube of Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve she had in her handbag.

Eva Longoria opened her Beso restaurant yesterday and pretty much the entire cast of Desperate Housewives came out to support her. Conspicuously absent was Terri Hatcher, but it's a well known fact that she doesn't get along with the rest of the ladies on the set.

I'm pretty sure Eva Longoria must have sent out a memo to all guests ahead of time and respectfully asked them to dress as unattractively as possible so as not to show her up. Needless to say, there were a lot of style mishaps last night at Beso. So, let's get right down to it. Let's talk clothes.

The latest celebrity to front a major fashion campaign is Teri Hatcher.

The Desperate Housewives star is in the Badgley Mischka campaign for Fall '07. The ads were shot by celebrity photographer Ellen Von Unwerth and show Hatcher in swimwear and revealing lingerie as well as evening wear. The campaign represents Badgley Mischka's move to appeal to a wider audience of women for more than just evening looks.

While I applaud the use of an older woman in an ad campaign it's a shame that she always has to be Photoshopped back into her twenties.

Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives" has been announces as the new face of Bebe Sport. Vogue UK reports Eva's sound bite about when she was poor her dream was to buy everything in Bebe and that when she was a cheerleader in college she was a fan of Bebe Sport. Her ads will debut in March. It's the first major campaign for Bebe Sport, the sportswear arm of the fashion company. Recent campaigns for the main Bebe line featured another TV star, Mischa Barton, who was on "The O.C." Eva seems like a good fit for Bebe Sport, the clingy little outfits seem like the type of outfits her character, Gabrielle, on "Desperate Housewives" might wear to jog around the neighborhood and drive the husbands crazy.

Just about every celebrity has a fragrance but fragrances connected to TV shows are a rarer breed. The popular show Desperate Housewives now has its own fragrance called Forbidden Fruit. The fragrance, from Coty, is sweet and fruity with heavy notes of apple, wisteria, jasmine and vanilla. I haven't sampled it yet but a quick tour of a few reviews reveals that it is fruity and perhaps a bit herby. You can get yours from Macys for $49.50.
