Versace CEO Steps Down

Di Risio joined the company in 2004, but WWD has been covering the possibility of a shakeup of the executive team since mid-May.
In fact, an earlier WWD article stated that there were strategic differences between the family-owned company. and its CEO. Guess they were right.
Italian fashion houses have seen a recent reshuffling of the executive position. Some even speculate that Di Risio could be a possible candidate for the CEO position at Roberto Cavalli.
If you found yourself without a party to go to this weekend or just felt like being lazy, then more likely than not you probably succombbed to a couple of hours of either aimlessly searching Youtube or blogs.
So many major designers have done lines for H&M that Donatella Versace would be a seemingly logical choice to team up with the retailer. But, she won't be following in the steps of Stella McCartney, Viktor and Rolf or Roberto Cavalli.

Can it be? Have curvy bodies replaced the tiny frames currently dominating the runways and fashion editorials? 
She's famous, she's successful, she's (sort of) attractive (in a "wow, you've sure had a lot of plastic surgery" kinda way).
With the New Year just around the corner, celebrities are surely tinkering with their lists of New Year's Resolutions. (i.e. "Should I do the master cleanse or the South Beach?" "Should I fire Rachel Zoe or buy another pair of oversized sunglasses?" "Should I just bite the bullet and convert to Scientology?")
