Father's Day Gift Guide - outdoorsy gifts for the great hunter

Lots of guys enjoy spending time in outdoors, testing their ingenuity and skill in the oldest pursuit: hunting wild game. You may or may not want to join your Dad at five a.m., sitting in a duck blind. Fortunately there are many other ways for you to show that you support his enjoyment of this hobby.

The world of camouflage is vast and wild -- you can find everything with a camo print, from duct tape to crock pots. You can go a step further, with antlers and hooves decorating your choice of furniture, lamps, and grills. And then there are the clothes. Explore the vast range of hunting gifts for Dad in the gallery.

Father's Day Gift Guide: for the gardener

Got a dad that -- for some inexplicable reason -- loves to do yard work? Every Saturday from sunup to sundown, he's out there clipping and pruning and -- generally just digging randomly in the dirt to avoid the rest of the family? Here's a neat little contraption that will save dad from having to run back and forth to the garage every 10 minutes to rummage around in the old tool box.

A multi-tool might not be what you use to rebuild your 60's muscle car, but when you're doing chores around the house -- it's really nice to have everything you need hanging on your belt. That's why we love Leatherman tools. Plus, tools are a gift that always seem to stroke the male ego. This deluxe pair of pruning shears is equipped with a knife, hand saw, phillips-head screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, and of course, the classic bottle opener (dad's gotta have a way to get those imported beers open). On sale for $60, it's a little more affordable than that Chanel fly-fishing rod.

Father's Day Gift Guide - For the master of the cocktail hour

There are the beer and BBQ Dads, and there there are the cocktail dudes.

Some are true innovators with the cocktail shaker, coming up with new combinations of bitters, gin and collins mixer at every family gathering. Others are more restrained, enjoying a sedate glass of Cabernet with steak and asparagus.

If you have a Dad who loves to relax with a stemmed glass, and says things like, "It's after 5pm somewhere!" then we have some ideas for gifts that will make his day special.

Father's Day Gift Guide: for the new father

There's nothing more manly than becoming a father -- it's something that a woman technically cannot do. Still, most of the paraphernalia that comes along with the manhood's highest honor is far from being flattering to one's masculinity, but times they are a changing. Somebody somewhere had the good sense to start marketing dad-friendly diaper bags, and some of them are actually cool enough to be mistaken for a murse, laptop bag, or holdall.

We were totally impressed when we ran across this skull and iron cross-emblazoned diaper bag made by a company called DadGear. Sure, it costs $79.99 -- but you can't put a price tag on the male ego. If you're not the skull and iron cross type, you can tone it down with a Diaper Dude bag from Target. It's a little cheaper and doesn't put off that I'm trying too hard to be a cool dad vibe.

If you have a golf-loving Dad, then you know that something golf-related is guaranteed to get a smile from him. Golf guys eat, sleep, and drink the game. It's an obsession!

One sure way to make his day is to set up a tee time so he can spend some time swinging away on the links. Some new golf gear is always welcome, too!

Golf balls are a perennial hit, because he constantly needs them. If you want to get a little more creative, our gallery of golf gifts will give you ideas for something new to help him celebrate his special day.

Shave without water

Ok, we haven't checked the ingredients label on the back of this Bold For Men Dry Shave Gel, but it's probably not all that organic or eco-chic. In fact, whatever they put in it to be able to shave your face without a drop of water is obviously highly unnatural, or even supernatural. Still, we think it's cool to get a close shave without all the mess -- even though it's got to be a little intimidating the first time around.

The transparent gel protects against nicks and razor-burn while also letting you see what you're doing, so you don't end up plowing patches of your face over and over. Ginger root and tea tree oil helps to soothe you mug, if you've got an herbal fetish. Overall, we say the dry shave is one of the two most optimal shaving routines. You either want quick, clean and easy, or you want to go old school with the brush and straight razor -- none of that halfway junk.

This stuff might make a good Father's Day gift.
