Ever since Kelly Clarkson hit the scene on American Idol, we've been following her hairstyles.

Lately Christina Aguilera has been flat-ironing her hair so straight we half-way suspect it might be a wig. Sure, she can pull off pretty much any look, but our favorite is still the big, tumbling waves that, along with red-red lips, were the signature look for her retro period.

The hottest hair accessory these days, and we mean that literally and figuratively, is the mini flat iron.

We tried out the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Mini-flat iron, and it's popular for a reason. At just six inches long and 1/2" wide, it's much easier to use for bangs or quick touch ups than your regular-sized flat iron.
