Just two weeks after Target dropped Richard Chai's Go International line in its stores, rumors began circulating on the net that the next high fashion darling to whip up cheap frocks for the mass retailer would be Alexander McQueen.We screamed, but just before we began to take the idea seriously another designer has announced his new found friendship with Target.
Glamour reports that Thakoon has been tapped to bring his nerdy-cool aesthetic to Target shoppers this fall. Details surrounding the collection are unknown, but we're not really sure if we're excited about this yet, so whatever. While we've always been a fan of his pieces, we've always felt that they appealed to a more mature client.
Although we really, really love our moms, we're not trying look like them.

We love high-fashion. And when it's on sale? Oh, my! We'll use a whole tank of gas to get that pair of black trousers or school blazer we've been eyeing all season via our favorite fashion magazines.
