Stephen Baldwin has a Hannah Montana Tattoo

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

Stephen BaldwinEw. Stephen Baldwin has a Hannah Montana tattoo. Someone call the ... we don't know who to call. The fashion police, surely. The regular police? Maybe not. The sanitarium? His parents? Well, Stephen Baldwin is famously a born again Christian, so maybe someone should call God.

Miley Cyrus, who plays Disney's Hannah Montana, says that Usual Suspects star Stephen Baldwin, who is the father of one of her friends, wanted to be on her hit show Hannah Montana. Being the little spitfire that she is,

I want that! Miley Cyrus in Moschino

Just before Miss Miley Cyrus hosted the 2008 Teen Choice Awards in August, she wore a little blue sequined number. At the time, we despised the entire outfit. However, after seeing some more photos and carefully separating the dress from the boot, we realized we love the dress – just not with that shoe. We get it that Miley loves her some boots but shesh!

Anyhoo, back to that cute dress. With the right sandal and accessories that thing is adorable!

• Moschino dress, Yoox, $888

Angry Little Girls - Back to school for the bad attitude set

Some of us think High School Musical is stoo-pid. We hate that hypocrite Hannah Montana, and you know where you can stick Camp Rock. We would rather eat glass than use stationery with any of their dumb mugs emblazoned across the front.

But hey, we still love back-to-school supplies! Thank the dark heavens for Emily Strange, Skelanimals and our new favorite: Angry Little Girls.

Thanks to these five misanthropic girls, a certain kind of kid can eat her lunch in peace, glowering in a corner while filling notebook after notebook with detailed thoughts about pushy math teachers, overbearing jocks and one very special boy in art class.

Even if you're theoretically too old for back to school shopping, it's worth looking. Something feels so right about using an Angry Little Girls (solar powered!) calculator to pay bills and balance our checkbook.

I want that! IVY plaid ruffle shirt

Filed under: Daily Obsession, Get the Look

Miley Cyrus performed on the ABC's "Good Morning America" on July 18 in New York's Bryant Park. The pop princess' mini concert was cool but her kick ass combo of cutesy pleated shorts paired with a ruffled button up was even cooler. We here at StyleDash are fans of the contrast between something masculine like plaid which is turned completely fem with the addition of ruffles and soft colors. And the addition of a few bracelets is an excellent option for day.

Kudos to the near perfect ensemble Cyrus. Now just try to keep those clothes on and dry... at least in front of cameras anyway.

IVY ruffle front shirt, Intermix, Sold out (for now)

The siren call of Hannah Montana lip gloss

Filed under: Cosmetics, Celebrities with Style

It happened again.

We stopped at Walgreens to grab a bottle of water on the way to gym, and promised ourselves: No browsing hair, make up or nail polish. And we were thisclose to success, but the register-side Hannah Montana lip gloss display snared us.

Two fruity flavors! Tangerine and strawberry! Cute roll-on applicators! Less than five dollars! Sold!

Not having a tween in the house, we're a bit late to the whole HM game. A little research turned up a surprising selection of branded lip glosses, with some spectacular applicator accessories.

Check out our "faves" in the gallery, but beware: no one can resist the lure of Hannah Montana!

Mani-pedi with that juice box?

nailsWhen I read this article in the New York Times I almost fell into an "When I was your age" rant. The article is called 'Never Too Young for that Pedicure.' Really, never too young? I beg to differ.

There is a new trend emerging among 5 to 11 years olds that I like to call "dressing up like a little tramp" and salons are ready to capitalize on that.

A salon in Texas called Sweet & Sassy caters to children who want to be "ready for their close up." The salon not only gives tiny tots manicures and pedicures, they also offer pink limo service which runs about $150 a ride. If pink limos aren't enough for your teeny diva, get them started drinking early with a virgin Cosmo served in a martini glass. They can sip it while flipping through the pages of US Weekly -- no kidding!

Am I the only one here flipping out here?! This is insane. I don't even like children and I think this is wrong. Dressing up a 5 year old like a 25 year old, painting her nails pink and giving her a virgin cocktail is not okay. I blame Hannah Montana, don't ask me why but I do. Would you let your children visit an upscale kiddie salon?

Hannah Montana now sings, acts, washes your hair

Just when you thought Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) had officially taken over the planet, and there was no escape from the incessant stream of songs, movies and TV shows featuring the teenage uber-star -- now there's yet another way the pint-size pop tart is worming her way into your life. Introducing Hannah Montana hair care.

Granted, you probably won't be using this. Just like the rest of the Montana empire, these 8-oz bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and "glitter spritz spray" are targeted at kids. Lotta Luv, the company behind the move, say they'll be shipping out hoards of the stuff come summer -- just in time for all the girls to make their parents buy it amidst the flurry of back-to-school shopping.

And parents, rest assured, your children will be asking for it. Unless you've been ignoring your daughter for the last year or two, you're undoubtedly aware that Hannah Montana is the number one ranked cable show for kids ages 6 to 14, her concerts sell out in minutes and she was one of Billboard's top 20 selling artists of 2007. Plus, stores like Wal-Mart will be displaying the new hair care products in Hannah Montana "boutiques" -- complete with clothing, bedding, toys and shoes.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Look for Less: Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Steals and Deals

miley cyrus Miley Cyrus is so the next Hillary Duff.

With her Disney Channel fame on the show Hannah Montana and a famous father, Billy Ray Cyrus, this girl is unstoppable. With great fame comes great responsibility, like being a fashion icon, of course. Although Miley is hardly the age for a fashion icon (she is only 15) her adoring fans are dying to nab her stylish look.

In the picture, Miley makes looking warm look cool with a stylish white coat adorned with look-at-me black buttons. Her contrast of white and black accessories really make this black and white look fresh. The ensemble is age (and weather) appropriate and can be yours for less than $215.
